Ning Feng returns

The concert Ning Feng Plays Elgar takes place on February 19, at St. Dominic’s Church, 8 pm. It is the return of the collaboration between the Chinese violinist Ning Feng and the Macao Orchestra.

Local Young Filmmakers Showcase

Cinema Alegria and Association Audio-Visual CUT will co-present a Local Young Filmmakers Showcase and Sharing on November 23, at 8pm, at Cinema Alegria Theatre 2.

Carmen in Macau

Carmen, a dance adaptation of George Bizet’s masterpiece by National Dance Company of Spain, will be presented on November 4, at the Macao Cultural Centre (CCM, in the Portuguese acronym).

The sounds of the city

The mixed-media exhibition City Notes, by French visual artist Yves Etienne Sonolet will last unil September 18, at Macau Art Garden. The artist notes "there is a serious identity question about the specificity of this Macau, what will be left".

With the Macao Artists Society celebrating its 60th anniversary, 169 artworks are being showcased at the Old Court Building, until September 7.

Chalk About at CCM

The play Chalk About will challenge kids to share their thoughts on a series of issues on August 27 and 28, at the Macao Cultural Centre (CCM). The play, by acclaimed Scottish company Curious Seed, has been praised by The Times as "the most brilliantly imaginative, humorous, touching theatre".
