Summer time? Time for music festivals. Our Hong Kong neighbours know it and are planning a feast for this weekend. But not that mainstream kind of fest — they are going underground. The Underground Summer Festival will take place on Saturday, July 16, at The Attic.

In the year that marks the 50th anniversary of the beginning of the Cultural Revolution in China (1966-1976), all of us in Macau will have a great opportunity this weekend to reflect on it – through art.
This weekend is party time. Today, June 10, is the Day of Portugal and of the Portuguese communities and there are cultural and recreational initiatives suited for the Portuguese community residing in Macau, but also for the Chinese and other communities, curious about a different culture.
