Last year marked the 10th anniversary of the inscription of the Historic Centre of Macau on the World Heritage List. This month, the Review of Culture returns to the theme of heritage preservation and its challenges.
The applications for the academic research grants launched by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, under the Portuguese acronym) are open since March 1 until May 31. The grants amount to MOP280,000 and MOP250,000.
The Script Road – Macau Literary Festival starts on March 5. This year's edition features author Adam Johnson, winner of the 2015 U.S. National Book Award for Fiction and the 2013 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction.
The “Macao Arts Window” will feature the exhibition “Restrained Hugs – Installation by Ella Lei”, that will be held until April 3, at the Macao Art Museum. Organised since 2012, the “Macao Arts Window” intends to promote creation.
Featuring international horn player Radovan Vlatković, “Horn Concerto by Radovan” will be the musician's debut in the territory. The concert will be held on March 5, at the Macao Cultural Centre Grand Auditorium.
Jazz Clube de Macau brings “Mn'JAM” to a jazz concert, this Friday, at Casa Garden. Luso-Australian jazz singer Melissa Oliveira leads the musical project, in co-operation with her life partner, the musician Jam.
