An exhibition titled Evoking Mário Cesariny is to take place until December 17, at Casa da Liberdade, in Alfama, Lisbon. Featuring the works of the Portuguese artist, it marks ten years after the artist’s death as well as the third anniversary of the gallery.

The exhibition gathers some of the most significant works which are owned by the gallery and is curated by Carlos Cabral Nunes.

Casa da Liberdade — Mário Cesariny was founded in articulation with Perve Galeria. It is an institution with museum characteristics that gathers a wide artistic collection, which started to be compiled in the 1990s. Created to pay homage to the surreal Portuguese artist Mário Cesariny, the institution does not only gather his work, but also different artist’s works, dividing it into different artistic periods.
