An exhibition titled Liquid Skin will undergo until Abril 24 2017, at Lisbon’s Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology (MAAT), resulting from the combining efforts of the Thai director Apichatpong Weerasethakul and the Portuguese director Joaquim Sapinho.

Apitchatpong Weerasethakul’s films like Blissfully Yours, Bonmee, as well as Joaquim Sapinho’s Haircut, The Policewoman or This Side of Ressurrection “have helped to produce unique moments that helped re-shape today’s visual landscape”, according to a note published on the City Council’s official page. “The starting point of Liquid Skin is the venue in the Boiler Room, which has an exceptional relationship between interior and exterior, since the museum is inseparable from the exterior vision of the river and of Lisbon’s light.”

The Thai director was recently in Lisbon to present his projection-performance Fever Room.
