The second edition of ARCO Lisboa will take place between May 18 to 21, at Cordoaria Nacional. It features 50 galleries, half of which come from outside Portugal.

It includes some of the most important galleries from Portugal, such as Cristina Guerra, Pedro Cera, Fernando Santos and Mário Sequeiro. Some of the featured International galleries include Elba Benítez, Juana de Aizpuru, Giorgio Persano, Vermelho, Monitor and Zak Branicka.

The new section Opening will feature eight national and international galleries with less than seven years of existence, chosen by the author João Laia. In this section, emerging artists such as Renato Leotta or Karlos Gil will be represented together with international names such as Erwin Wurm, José Pedro Croft, João Louro, Sergio Vega and Nathaniel Mellors.

The first edition of ARCO Lisboa was held between May 26 to 29, last year, and it gathered more than 12.800 visitors and 45 galleries from eight countries, 18 of which were Portuguese. Last year, marked the first time the famous ARCO Madrid happened outside Spain.
