The Belém Cultural Centre (CCB, in the Portuguese acronym) will be celebrating David Bowie’s career on Sunday, January 8, the day the late British singer and songwriter would turn 70 years old.
The CCB production — to start at 5 pm — will feature music, a talk and the projection of film excerpts. Portuguese artist David Fonseca will perform live some covers of songs by Bowie, while journalist Nuno Galopim will be moderating a talk with João Lopes, Xana and David Ferreira.
David Bowie passed away on January 10, 2016. His last album, Blackstar, had just been released two days before, on his birthday.
