Lambchop are coming to Portugal’s capital, Lisbon, to present their album Flotus on January 17, at 10 pm, at Teatro Municipal Maria Matos.

After a twenty-year career, a dozen flawless albums and the title of an ‘American musical institution,’ Lambchop have instigated their own revolution by reformulating the backbone of their sound with the use of electronics, making a complete break with their past,” the organisers say in a note.

They add “the identity of Kurt Wagner’s project has been maintained entirely unaltered” and Flotus “is set to become one of the band’s best ever albums”.

The show will feature Kurt Wagner (vocals, guitar, electronic), Tony Crow (piano), Matt Swansom (base), Andy Stack (percussion, electronic) and Elise Tyler (photography).
