The second edition of the Lisbon Music Fest is being held in the Portuguese capital during this month and in August. The event gathers talented young musicians from all over the world.

“This Festival, unique in Portugal, features youth orchestras, choirs and jazz big bands in the most beautiful and outstanding venues of Lisbon, such as Antiga Igreja do Carmo, Ajuda National Palace, open air locations provided by the Lisbon City Council, among many others,” the organisers say in the event’s official website.

The festival started on Saturday, July 9, with a performance by Portuguese Orquestra Sinfónica da Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa. It will end on August 6, with a performance by the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, at the National Coach Museum.
