The Lisbon-based Teatro Meridional is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a new theatre show of the series Contos em Viagem (Travelling Short-stories, in a free translation to English), this time featuring Macau.
The troupe is adapting texts by authors like Camilo Pessanha, Eugénio de Andrade, Lu Aolei or Wenceslau de Moraes. The show takes place until November 6, from wednesday to saturday, 9.30 pm, and on sunday, 5 pm, at Teatro Meridional, in Lisbon.
The project Contos em Viagem has already featured previously about Cape Verde and Brazil. This time, the show is about Macau and it is played by Romeu Costa, to the sound of the music played and composed by Rui Rebelo and featuring a dance performance by Margarida Belo Costa.
