The Belém Cultural Centre (CCB, in the Portuguese acronym) is presenting in August and September an outdoor cinema cycle featuring films selected by architect Eduardo de Souto Moura, the centre has announced.

Films selected by the architect will be exhibited every Saturday, at 9.30 pm, at garden Jardim das Oliveiras, starting from August 13 until September 17.

The initiative is linked to the ongoing exhibition Eduardo de Souto Moura: Continuity, showcased in CCB until September 18.

The films to be featured in this cycle are:

August 13 – The Gold Rush – Charlie Chaplin 100’ m/6
August 20  – Shirin – Abbas Kiarostami 92’ m/12
August 27 – Pina – Wim Wenders 100’ m/6
September 3 – The Gold Rush – Charlie Chaplin 100’ m/6
September 10 – Os Verdes Anos (The Green Years) – Paulo Rocha 84’ m/12
September 17 – The Marquise of O – Eric Rohmer 103’ m/12
