The Jazz im Goethe-Garten (JiGG) festival starts tomorrow, July 5. There will be new sounds of the European jazz scene until July 15, in the garden of the Goethe-Institut, in the capital city of Portugal, Lisbon.

Featuring eight concerts, this is the festival’s 12th edition. This year, the Jazz im Goethe-Garten presents groups from Germany, Austria, Spain, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Swiss and Portugal, that reflect “the diversity of expressions and languages of jazz, by musicians born in the European continent, representing different generations,” according to the note issued a the event’s official Facebook page.
JiGG is organised by the Goethe-Institut Portugal, and counts on Mercedes Benz and Merck’s financial support.
