Casa Fernando Pessoa is celebrating Poetry World Day on Monday, March 21, with a number of events and a free-entrance day.
The organisation — aimed at promoting knowledge on famous Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa — prepared a Word Workshop with Pedro Lamares for today, at 11.30am. Mr Lamares and Ana Luísa Amaral will be reciting poetry at Casa Fernando Pessoa later in the day, at 6.30pm.

Portuguese poet (1888-1935) lived the last 15 years of his life in the house where Casa Fernando Pessoa is based. The venue, which is now a house of culture, gives visitors a chance to see some of Mr Pessoa’s personal objects, as well as to access his private library.
Casa Fernando Pessoa regularly organises events, including seminars, shows and talks on literature, as well as exhibitions and workshops. It also offers guided tours.
