Lisbon’s Summer Nights (Noites de Verão, in Portuguese) is back, bringing you outdoor concerts every Friday evening until August 26.

This year’s edition of the programme — its 7th edition — started on July 8. The initiative, promoted by cultural association Filho Único, is being held in two venues, namely the gardens of the National Museum of Contemporary Art — Museu do Chiado (MNAC) and Palácio Pombal.

Cape Verde’s Katuta Branca will be performing today, July 29, at Palácio Pombal. The following concerts will take place at MNAC, including performances by Portuguese Norberto Lobo, on August 5, and British saxophonist Even Parker, on August 12.

All concerts begin at 7.30 pm. Admission is free. The full programme can be found here.
