Jill Scott, Frances, The Cinematic Orchestra, Seal, Stacey Kent or Nouvelle Vague are just some of the names featuring this year’s EDP Cooljazz, taking place until July 27, in Oeiras, Portugal.
In the opening day, which was on July 12, Jill Scott presented its latest album of originals entitled Woman, as well as a best of called Golden Moments. The following day it was time for the young French singer Frances — known by her theme Grow and already called “the new Adele” by some critics — is singing today, July 13.
This year’s edition of Cooljazz also brings The Cinematic Orchestra and Salvador Sobral (July 17), Seal and HMB (July 20), Stacey Kent and Marta Ren (July 21), Koop Oscar Orchestra and Nouvelle Vague (July 23), Omara Portuondo and Diego el Cigala (July 26) and Marisa Monte with Carminho (July 27).
EDP CoolJazz was launched for the first time in 2004 and, until now, it has already produced more than 130 concerts, for more than 275.000 spectators.
