The stage of Teatro da Trindade, in Lisbon, is hosting performances of world music during August and September. The initiative from INATEL Foundation is called Ciclo Mundos.
The cycle brings to Lisbon some of the names featured in the 18th annual edition of Sines World Music Festival, held in July in the south of Portugal.
Artists featured in this cycle include Songhoy Blues, from Mali; Kayhan Kalhor and Toumani Diabaté, from Iran and Mali; Metá Metá, from Brazil; and DakhaBrakha, from Ucraine.
