The Macao Museum of Art (MAM, in the Portuguese acronym) is organising a photography tour around the city’s churches led by local photographer Chan Hin Io, on April 22. The tour, which serves as a class, is reserved for people registered as Friends of MAM.
The activity, named A City Walk in Photography — Evolution of the Church Buildings (I), is aimed at “leading photography enthusiasts to explore churches with world heritage characteristics,” MAM says in a note on its official website.
“With professional tour guides explaining the history and design features of the buildings, students are allowed to capture the immediate unique view from different angles through the camera lens,” the museum states.
The tour will be held in Cantonese. The maximum number of participants is 30. Participants should be aged 16 or above and have to bring their own photographic equipment. Details can be found here.
